The Bar With No Name

One of the most popular, yet secretive bars in St Augustine. "The Bar with no Name" is just opposite the historic Castillo De San Marcos. The bar offers live music on the weekends & weekend drinks specials...which attracts college students & tourists alike.

This isn't really a place for fancy cocktails, but if you would like a few beers or mixed drinks you should defo head down here.  After 9 p.m, the party really kicks in and the atmosphere gets very loud and rowdy.

Tini Martini Bar - Best for Romance!

Tini Martini Bar is part of  the ever so quaint Casablanca Inn. This tini (very small) cocktail bar is an intimate venue, ideal to bring a date for a few romantic cocktails.

On the patio, you have views of the water and on some nights they offer some classic piano jazz.

Hornski’s Vinyl Lounge

Head across the bridge of lions, to Hornskis  . This is one part man cave, one part live music.  They have a vast selection of vinyls and cold craft beers.

Hornskis is closed on mondays, and open from 4pm-10pm (Tuesday to Sunday)

Tradewinds tropical lounge   opened back in 1945 and is one of the most historic venues for live music in St Augustine.

St Augustine Amphitheatre is an outdoor amphitheatre which has over 4000 seats an has been home to some big music names, from Willie Nelson to Boy George & Culture Club, Salt N Pep, Paramorea, and Donny & Marie!!

This is definitely a venue you should experience at least once. Located a couple of miles from Bayfront Marin House, across the Bridge of Lions.

Colonial Oak Stage at Colonial Quarter

Colonial Oak Stage in the Colonial Quarter is the ideal venue to experience some local acts. They have there very own outdoor amphitheatre which has 175 seats beneath a towering Colonial Oak tree.

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Centro Nightclub:

Centro Nightclub is arguably one of the only/most popular nightclubs in St Augustine.  Many say this is the only place in St Augustine with music which you can dance to!

Thurs - Sat night this is the late night place to be after warming up in the Jazz bars.  By Day it's Centro Piano Bar and at night it turns into "Centro after dark" the perfect place to dance the night away!

Last time i was here i found it great to watch the transition from Piano Bar, to nightclub as the DJ setup and people from all ages were just dancing and having a good time together.

Live Music Events/Festivals in St Augustine:

Night of Lights:

Night of Lights, St Augustine is a annual event where over three million lights cause the oldest city in the U.S to glow!

When is the event?

It lasts over two months, between: November and late January. This year it runs between November 23, 2019, to January 31, 2020.

During this season, shops & restaurants open later and their are many tours around the cities lights from walking to romantic horse and carriage tours.

How much is the night of lights tour?

General admission tickets are 13.99 for adults and $5.99 for children 3 - 12, while kids under 3 are free.

Sing Out Loud

Sing out loud is an annual music festival organised by South by Southeast. It involves hundreds of concerts and held all over city, from parks to churches. In addition, Sing out loud includes a variety of street fairs, beer tastings.

When is the Event?

Sing Out Loud runs every September.

Gamble Rogers Festival

Gamble Rogers Festival    this is an annual music festival held in the first weekend of may   which consists of over 55 bands, in addition to crafts and kids activities.

The festival is in commemoration of "Gamble Rogers" a great folk artist musician and storyteller known for his songs and stories about characters and places in a fictional Florida county.

This year the event was at the Colonial Oak tree stage, in the Colonial Quarter.

Live Nightlife Entertainment:

Limelight Theatre

Limelight Theatre is a great place to watch some great live theatre performances. From dramas, to musicals, comedies and even children's theatre. Limelight theatre is considered one of the best playhouses in North Florida.

The last sunday of each month also has an event called "Music in the Box". Here you can experience live bands between 6-9pm for just $5 entry fee.
