Frontier Airlines is poised to make big waves with its new “all you can fly” pass. This generous pass only costs $299, and as the name suggests, the GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Fall & Winter Pass gives travelers unlimited travel opportunities during fall and winter. This relatively inexpensive pass lets you fly as much as you want between September 2nd, 2023, and February 29th, 2024.

It may sound too good to be true, but this special offer applies to both domestic and international flights. Frontier Airlines will charge you $0.01 per flight, but that’s as good as free. With this package, you can book trips the day before your flight for domestic travel. You need to book international flights 10 days before your trip with this package, however.

While the package is quite generous and gives travelers plenty of chances to get away, there are some restrictions. For example, Frontier Airlines imposes several blackout periods where you cannot use your “all you can fly” pass. These blackout dates coincide with peak travel times around holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Blackout dates include December 16th, 17th, and the 22nd-24th of 2023, among other days. Frontier Airlines also restricts travelers from using the pass on January 1st, 15th, and several days in February, such as the 19th. Even with the exclusionary dates, the GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Fall & Winter Pass gives you well over 100 travel days.

This package doesn’t include upcharges, such as additional baggage, but you have the option to upgrade. The only downside to this package is that the flights you take won’t count toward your rewards and miles. However, you won’t have to worry about your existing Frontier Miles expiring because the flights still count as activity.

Frontier Airlines also offers a Summer Pass for $499 that runs from April 11th, 2023, through September 30th, 2023. Their Annual Pass costs $1,99 per year, and much like the summer and fall/winter passes, it includes exclusions. Neither of these passes is universal as blackout dates apply to them both.

Even still, Frontier’s newest fall and winter pass is their most affordable and generous when it comes to how many open travel days they offer. It’s worth noting the deals afforded by the GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Fall & Winter Pass only applies to the purchasing passenger. Anyone that travels with you will still need to pay full price for their ticket.

This program will renew on its own if you don’t cancel your subscription. Make sure to opt out of the program manually if you decide you don’t want to resubscribe next year. In the meantime, keep an eye on the blackout dates and travel as much as possible while your pass is active.

The “all you can fly” moniker may be misleading, but this affordable package can still save you a fortune. While you can’t use this pass to fly each day within its active period, you still have access to thousands of dollars worth of flights from September 2nd, 2023, to February 29th, 2024. The average roundtrip flight costs $398, so even one flight domestic flight will make this Frontier Airlines package worthwhile.
