Los Angeles, popularly referred to as LA is known for its ethnic diversity and its Mediterranean climate. The heat during the summer in the city of Los Angeles can be dangerous if not well handled. There are amazing water parks within and around the city to provide some cool entertainment to battle the heat for you and your loved ones.

Below we have listed some of the best water parks that will promise to keep you and your loved ones cool and away from the heat of the hot summer days.

1. Sesame Place, Chula Vista

The Sesame Place, located in the city of San Diego, is a Sesame Street-themed water park. This water park is a wonderful place for you to take your kids for a fun water-based adventure.

The water park has a lot of fun water facilities for you and your kids to enjoy. It features a five hundred thousand gallon wave pool called big birds beach.  It also has a one thousand two hundred and fifty-foot long lazy river for guests to drift on.

Its Cookie monsters mixer four-person raft is six stories tall. Ernie’s twisty turns tunnels are sixty feet with two enclosed slides and one open slide. The snuffy’s Spaghetti Slide has six slides,  two enclosed and the remaining four open. The honker finger dash has six lanes for the whole crew to have fun sliding down.

The count splash castle is a multi-level interactive playground with dumping buckets for the little kids. Elmo's silly sans slides is also a safe ride for the little kids. It has about 20 water slides and other water-based attractions. On this twenty-acre property, guests walk through its plane hangar and are transported to a world of South Pacific fun and enjoyment. They have a wave pool for you and your loved ones to ride on. There is also a lazy river for a more leisurely float. They also offer an area of wet and wild water slides and ride that will get your adrenaline flowing.
