Winter is the best season to plan a trip to Aspen Snowmass if you enjoy the white stuff. While two of the four Aspen Snowmass ski resorts can open as early as Thanksgiving weekend and remain open as late as May, it is normally recommended to visit the valley in the middle of winter for the best chance of snow.
